Do you apply for me?
No, on purpose. We send you the file and the link — the click on "apply" is yours. Applying automatically breaks the terms of most career sites, burns your reputation with recruiters, and puts your name behind a statement you never approved. It's a product decision, not a technical limit.
Where exactly do the jobs come from?
From the employers' own public hiring systems — Greenhouse, Comeet, Lever, Ashby, Workable and more — and from direct career sites. We don't scrape LinkedIn or Indeed.
What if I'm missing something the job requires?
It shows up in the gap report instead of disappearing in the wording. If a real hard requirement is missing, the recommendation you get is plainly not to apply — with a one-line reason why.
Does my CV reach anyone else?
No. The file is encrypted at rest, never used to train models, and deleting your account deletes it for good. Every customer is isolated at the database level.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from settings. It takes effect at the end of the billing period, and you move to Scout instead of disappearing.
